Junior Olys Youth Basketball is a community-driven, non-profit organization operated by dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to support, encourage, and empower student-athletes to experience the joy of basketball. We are committed to providing quality coaching that fosters teamwork, builds self-esteem, and enhances skills in a safe, positive team environment. Partnering with Sprague High School programs, we proudly serve as a feeder program, helping to develop the next generation of Olympian athletes. Affiliated with the PAC Salem and Salem Keizer Youth Basketball, our teams compete with other top programs across Oregon. Currently, we offer recreational play locally for 1st-3rd graders and regional tournament play for 3rd-8th graders.

 

The heart of our program beats with the support of our community and business leaders, like you. Every dollar from player registration fees, fundraising, and sponsorships stays within our community, directly benefiting our Junior Oly teams. While we strive to keep registration fees as low as possible, covering costs like gym access, uniforms, insurance, and team fees can be challenging.

 

This is where you come in. Your sponsorship can make a real difference in the lives of our young athletes, ensuring that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of their passion for basketball. By becoming a sponsor, you help keep kids on the court, playing the sport they love.

 

Our goal is to raise $10,000 annually to reduce registration fees and make our program accessible to more families in the Sprague area.
